Carbitool was founded by Neil Hamilton in Victoria, Australia in 1974, subsequently acquiring four other Melbourne and Sydney manufacturing businesses.

It was acquired by the century-old Australian tool manufacturing and services group Sutton Tools in 2018 – now forming part of its global business serving industry, trades, hobbyists and the specialist retailers world wide.

With a comprehensive range of woodworking tools including; Router Bits, Saw Blades, Planer Blades, Drills, Countersinks for timber and a small range of engineering products such as, Carbide Endmills and Burrs.
